Our Fitness Expert, Patty Reilly, demonstrating the Wab Board from the Moonlight Series. Benefits include improved abdominal, back and hip flexor strength, and improved balance and stability in the mid section. Model: THJ-D10Q. Why should we use outdoor fitness equipment?
A. It is free, simple to use, your body weight controls the amount of effort and using this equipment helps in the fight against adult obesity and other diseases associated with obesity.

Q. I see that it is recommended for ages 13 and up, but is it safe for younger children to use?
A. We realize that it is impossible to prevent access and improper use of the equipment by unsupervised, younger children and although there are no safety standards for this type of equipment in North America, Fitness Outdoors equipment is also sold into Europe and must be manufactured to comply with the European Standard EN1176 which is the playground safety standard for Europe and is more stringent than the CSA Standard for playground equipment.

Q. Is this equipment vandal proof?
A. There is no such thing as "vandal proof", however we have taken steps to minimize the extent of vandalism by using Tamper resistant Stainless Steel Hardware, Laminating our instructional signage and placing stops on moving equipment to prevent overuse.

Benefits of the Push Chair includes improved chest, triceps, and shoulder strength. Part of the Moonlight Series. Model: THJ-D01Q. Will it stand up to our cold winters?
A. As there are no hydraulics to stiffen up and the equipment is manufactured to meet extremes of temperature from -30C to +40C, our winters will not affect the mobility of the equipment (You will however have to remove snow!)

Q. What about maintenance?
A. As all moving parts operate on a sealed bearing there is little maintenance required other than periodic inspection to ensure that there are no loose bolts. In the event of vandalism or the need to replace a bearing, we carry a supply of spare parts in our Olds, Alberta warehouse.

Q. How long is your warranty?
A. Our warranty on the steel components is 20 years and the bearings are warranted for 2 years.

Q. Where can the equipment be placed?
A. Public Parks, Fitness Centres, Adult Community Centres, Senior Centres, Corporate Centres, Trails, Hotels, Resorts, Schools, Universities - Anywhere there is space and public access.
